Implemented under the Economic Recovery Programme, the aim of the NTRS is to train and reskill unemployed persons.
Aimed at boosting GDP growth, protecting jobs and creating new ones, reducing dependence on imports and improving the well-being of the population.
Eligible trainees will benefit from a monthly stipend of up to Rs. 10,575 * (prorated based on attendance and contact hours from training) for the duration of the training.
The National Training and Reskilling Scheme (NTRS) targets the training and reskilling of unemployed persons.
